About The Position

Justice Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member-driven, detail-oriented Deposit Products Specialist. The role ensures deposit product compliance with credit union policies and procedures and conducts daily quality reviews of system reporting and product analysis. The specialist administers deceased, dormant, Power of Attorney, and escheated Member accounts while maintaining regulatory compliance and providing excellent Member service. The position also serves as the liaison for IRA Administration and the credit union’s check order processor.

Requirements

Three to five years of similar or related experience.
A two-year college degree, specialized certification or licensing, specialized vendor training, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
Ability to use a PC, copier, scanner, fax, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

Ensure deposit products comply with credit union policies and procedures.
Conduct daily quality reviews of system reporting and analysis for deposit products.
Administer deceased, dormant, Power of Attorney, and escheated Member accounts in compliance with regulations.
Serve as the liaison for IRA Administration and the credit union’s check order processor.
Provide excellent service to prospective and current Members and engage in consultative conversations to identify Member needs and cross-sell products and services.
Process IRA transactions, transfers, distributions, required minimum distribution (RMD) disbursements, and Member notices accurately and promptly.
Review departmental processes and recommend improvements to efficiency and Member service.
