Installed Products Specialist
About The Position
As an installer, the Installed Products Specialist is responsible for installing company products according to work orders and manufacturer, quality, and safety guidelines. Products may include insulation, fireplaces, gutters, mirrors and shelving, garage doors, windows, shower enclosures, home wrap, and other products sold by the company. The role involves preparing and loading the truck, inspecting vehicles and job sites, unloading and staging materials, reporting safety, customer, or quality concerns, and performing warehouse-related duties as needed. It is a safety-sensitive position requiring daily travel to job sites, with local and occasional out-of-town travel. Physical demands include prolonged standing, repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on job duties.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on specific job duties.
Responsibilities
- Install company products according to work orders and manufacturer, quality, and safety guidelines.
- Review the daily work schedule and ensure the truck is loaded with the products, tools, and equipment needed for the day.
- Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
- Safely unload and stage materials at the job site.
- Report safety, customer, or quality concerns.
- Perform warehouse-related duties as required.
- Perform other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
