Installed Products Specialist Hourly
About The Position
As an installer, the Installed Products Specialist is responsible for installing company products according to work orders and manufacturer, quality, and safety guidelines. Products may include insulation, fireplaces, gutters, mirrors and shelving, garage doors, windows, shower enclosures, home wrap, and other products sold by the company. The role includes preparing for daily jobs, inspecting vehicles and job sites, unloading and staging materials, reporting concerns, and performing warehouse duties as needed. This is a safety-sensitive position involving local and daily travel to job sites, with out-of-town travel as required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including prolonged standing, repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, physical strength, and lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on job duties.
- Must be able to travel locally and daily to job sites; out-of-town travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Review the daily work schedule and ensure the truck is loaded with all products, tools, and equipment needed for the day.
- Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
- Safely unload and stage materials at job sites.
- Install company products according to work orders and manufacturer, quality, and safety guidelines.
- Report safety, customer, or quality concerns.
- Perform warehouse-related duties as required.
- Perform other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
