Installation Technician

About The Position

The Installation Technician installs, services, and maintains CO2 beverage gas systems for restaurants, bars, and hospitality customers in and around Cumberland, Maryland. The role works from a company vehicle on an established local route. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The company provides paid on-the-job training, uniforms, and a company vehicle. The position also involves maintaining the service vehicle, tool inventory, and parts stock; using a handheld device for routing, customer information, and depot communication; and safely handling equipment.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a technician, mechanic, installer, or in a similar hands-on role.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Clean driving record, with no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the last 24 months.
Current DOT medical card.
Ability to lift 55 pounds and maneuver equipment weighing up to 400 pounds with mechanical assistance.
Ability to pull and retract a fill hose up to 100 feet.
Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

CDL B with Tanker/Hazmat endorsement; candidates working toward a CDL may also be considered.
Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical technician work.
Experience repairing appliances or beverage equipment.
Experience as a cable or utility installer.
Military vehicle or equipment mechanic experience.
Delivery driving experience with an interest in moving into a technical role.
