About The Position

Sun Protection of Florida, part of the Hunter Douglas family of brands, is hiring an Installation Technician for its growing installation team. The company installs retractable awnings and motorized exterior screens and sun shades throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas. The role works outdoors with an installation team to install products according to customer contracts, prepare and transport job materials, make on-site alterations or repairs as needed, maintain assigned tools, and keep job sites clean.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Three years of clean driving history.

Nice To Haves

• Experience installing exterior screens and awnings.
• Experience communicating with homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Work with the SPF Installation team to install exterior screens and awnings.
• Install all products according to the requirements outlined in the customer contract.
• Ensure components, materials, and supplies are taken to the job site, and load materials and supplies for work orders onto assigned trucks.
• Make necessary alterations at the job site when needed.
• Perform repairs at job sites when needed.
• Maintain all assigned tools.
• Keep the job site neat and clean.
