About The Position

Installation Technicians work independently at customers’ homes and businesses to install and activate AT&T high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services. The role involves providing seamless installations and customer service, troubleshooting problems, and connecting customers to the services they need. Work varies day to day and may include installing new lines, climbing ladders, and activating Wi-Fi networks. The position is based in Monroe, Louisiana, with 40 weekly hours. AT&T provides extensive training, resources, and ongoing paid training to support learning and career growth. The role includes customer-facing field work at homes and businesses.

Requirements

Possess a valid state driver’s license.
Be able to lift and move up to 60 pounds.
Weigh less than 325 pounds for ladder safety.
Be able to work in small spaces or at heights up to 28 feet.
Be able to identify wire and cable colors.
Qualify on a pre-employment assessment.
Be available for overtime, emergency call-outs, and holiday work.
Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services at customers’ homes and businesses.
Provide customer service and help customers use and connect to AT&T services.
Install new lines and activate Wi-Fi networks.
Troubleshoot problems during installations.
Work independently in customer locations.
Work evenings, weekends, overtime, emergency call-outs, and holidays as needed.
