About The Position

As an Install Helper, you support lead installers and help ensure each job is completed safely and correctly. You learn on the job while contributing to each installation. This role is suited to someone ready to learn, work hard, and begin building a career in the trades.

Requirements

Able to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
Able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, and reach overhead.
Able to climb and work on ladders.
Able to use hand and power tools.
Able to braze and solder equipment as needed.
Drug testing, background checks, and a valid driver’s license are conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
Participate in required staff meetings and training sessions.
Maintain a positive attitude and promote a professional, friendly work environment.
Work hard, smart, and efficiently.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Wear floor savers in clients’ homes and use drop cloths to protect floors during installations; keep the work area neat.
Re-check each aspect of an installation before leaving to prevent callbacks, using the Installation Excellence Form.
Explain the system to the client after installation and ensure they are satisfied with the work.
Work safely on the job and while driving, and ensure the assistant installer also works safely and neatly.
Maintain the minimum production level established by management and the annual plan.
Perform full system change-outs within the timeframe determined by the manager.
Keep the inside and outside of trucks neat and clean.
Adhere to company policies and codes while performing installation jobs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
