About The Position

As an Install Helper, you support lead installers and help ensure each installation is completed safely and correctly. You learn on the job while contributing to installations of systems that make homes more comfortable. The role involves working with customers and coworkers, protecting customers’ homes, maintaining a safe and neat work area, and helping complete system change-outs. Requirements

Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, and reach overhead.
Ability to climb and work on ladders.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Ability to braze and solder equipment as needed.
Drug testing and background checks are conditions of employment.
Valid driver’s license is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
Maintain a positive attitude and promote a professional, friendly work environment.
Work hard, smart, and efficiently.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Wear floor savers in clients’ homes and use drop cloths to protect floors during installations.
Keep the work area neat at all times.
Re-check each aspect of an installation before leaving, using the Installation Excellence Form, to help prevent callbacks.
Explain the system to the client after installation and ensure the client is fully satisfied with the work.
Work safely on the job and while driving, and ensure the assistant installer is working safely and neatly.
Maintain the minimum production level determined by management and the annual plan.
Perform full system change-outs within the time determined by the manager.
Keep company trucks clean and neat inside and outside.
Follow company policies and codes when performing installation jobs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
