As an Install Helper, you support lead installers and help ensure each installation is completed safely and correctly. You learn on the job while contributing to installation work. Requirements

• Able to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, and reach overhead.
• Able to climb and work on ladders.
• Able to use hand and power tools.
• Able to braze and solder equipment as needed.
• Drug testing, background checks, and a valid driver's license are conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
• Participate in required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and promote a professional, friendly work environment.
• Work hard, smart, and efficiently.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Wear floor savers in clients’ homes and use drop cloths to protect floors during installations; keep the work area neat.
• Recheck every aspect of each installation using the Installation Excellence Form before leaving the job to help prevent callbacks.
• Explain the completed system to the client and ensure the client is fully satisfied with the work.
• Work safely on the job and while driving, and ensure the assistant installer also works safely and neatly.
• Maintain the minimum production level determined by management and the annual plan.
• Perform full system change-outs within the timeframe determined by the manager.
• Keep the inside and outside of trucks neat and clean.
• Adhere to company policies and codes when performing installation jobs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
