As an Install Helper, you support lead installers and help ensure each job is completed safely and correctly. You learn on the job while contributing to each installation. This is an opportunity to build a career in the trades as part of a team installing systems that make homes more comfortable.

Requirements

• Able to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, and reach overhead.
• Able to climb and work on ladders.
• Able to use hand and power tools.
• Able to braze and solder equipment as needed.
• Drug testing, background checks, and a valid driver's license are conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
• Participate in required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and promote a professional, friendly work environment.
• Work hard, smart, and efficiently.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Wear floor savers and use drop cloths to protect clients' floors; maintain a neat work area.
• Re-check every aspect of an installation before leaving, using the Installation Excellence Form, to help prevent callbacks.
• Explain the completed system to the client and ensure the client is fully satisfied with the work.
• Work safely on the job and while driving, and ensure the assistant installer also works safely and neatly.
• Maintain the production level minimum set by management and the annual plan.
• Perform full system change-outs within the timeframe determined by the manager.
• Keep trucks neat and clean inside and out.
• Adhere to company policies and codes when performing installation jobs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
