Inside Territory Sales Manager

Daikin•Saint Louis, MO

About The Position

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is hiring an Inside Territory Sales Manager for its branch operations group at the Saint Louis, Missouri branch. The role engages COD House Accounts to increase sales and customer loyalty, grows sales of HVAC products among smaller and commercial accounts, and meets established targets and quotas. The position is results-driven and focused on sales. The manager develops and maintains a portfolio of approximately 50 Inside Sales Key Accounts, nurturing them until their sales volume, growth, and interest in partnership warrant transfer to an outside Territory Sales Manager. In coordination with the Area Sales Manager (ASM), the role identifies accounts ready for transfer; the ASM facilitates transfers and selects the receiving Territory Sales Manager. Graduated accounts are replaced with accounts from the region’s House Account list. The position works under close supervision, following established procedures and well-defined instructions. It requires at least three years of sales experience; HVAC experience and knowledge are preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The role is based from a home-office base, with a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel. Benefits are effective on day one for full-time direct hires; training and career-growth opportunities are also available.
