About The Position

Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join their team. This role involves managing existing customer accounts, identifying new customer opportunities, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Inside Sales Representative will collaborate with outside sales, engineering, manufacturing, and shipping departments to deliver products. The position requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on providing industry solutions in power transmission and material handling applications. Each interaction offers an opportunity to support customers' businesses.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Complete an extensive hands-on training program including time in a manufacturing environment on the shop floor.
  • Focus on career growth and personal development.
  • Respond to inbound sales calls from our established customer base for product and pricing information, order status, or delivery confirmation.
  • Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery; working closely with our machine shop and other facilities to manufacture and expedite orders.
  • Enter orders and quotes custom manufactured components and systems, and perform quote follow-ups in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Coordinate with Outside Sales on open opportunities in their sales territories and work together to grow customer sales.
  • Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding equipment use, applications, operation, and maintenance.
