About The Position

ALUDEC is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join its team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, strategic, and has excellent communication and collaboration skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for their career. This role develops customer relationships and supports customer requests involving quotes, pricing, product information, orders, and shipments. The representative also works across Sales, Customer Service/Order Entry, Quality, and Production to handle customer concerns and resolve issues. The position is performed 100% onsite in a typical office, production, and manufacturing environment; hybrid and remote work are not available. Benefits are available after 60 days.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's or associate degree preferred; professional sales and/or professional customer or client service experience may be substituted for a degree.
Previous ERP experience.

Responsibilities

Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
Communicate with customers regarding quotes, re-quotes, pricing, product information, order status, shipment tracking, and related requests.
Assist with hosting customers visiting ALUDEC USA, including arranging plant tours and accommodations when requested.
Work with Sales Assistants and Customer Service/Order Entry staff to ensure company procedures are followed.
Professionally and effectively handle customer issues and concerns passed along by the Customer Service/Order Entry team.
Understand the 8-D format and how to respond to 8-D concerns.
Work with Quality, Production, and Sales to resolve in-plant and customer issues.
Keep the department manager informed about new jobs and potential problems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
