About The Position

Wholesale Industrial Electronics (WIE) is seeking an Inside Industrial Sales Rep to provide customer service and support. The role requires developing a high level of understanding of WIE’s product lines, including data and networking, education products, industrial and automation, and security products. The representative supports customers with product and service information, order status, pricing, account maintenance, and order processing, while working closely with inside sales and sales representatives in a team environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Knowledge of industrial electronic products and applications, or the ability to learn them.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service or inside sales experience is beneficial.
• Experience with industrial electronic products is a plus.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers by telephone and email to provide support and information about products, services, and order status.
• Handle requests for price quotes, credit applications, purchase orders, order adjustments, and order cancellations.
• Place timely orders with vendors by computer, phone, email, or fax.
• Stay current with WIE products and discount structures.
• Maintain current customer accounts and build customer relationships.
• Work closely with inside sales and sales representatives in a team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
