Counter Sales - Inside Sales Representative
About The Position
As an Inside Sales - Counter Sales Representative, you will assist customers in person and by phone, enter orders into the system, review and pull orders, and follow through on commitments involving product delivery or requested information. You will ensure customers’ needs are met professionally and promptly, and communicate information appropriately to customers and employees fulfilling orders. The role also involves helping customers select suitable Crescent Electric products and services, coordinating competitive quotations with branch and company teams, and developing knowledge of product inventory, facility locations, and sales techniques.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Exceptional phone and customer service skills.
- Ability to move quickly between the counter and warehouse areas.

- Related sales experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person and over the phone, and enter orders into the system.
- Review and pull orders, and follow through on commitments for product delivery or requested information.
- Ensure customer needs are met in a professional and timely manner, communicating order information to customers and employees fulfilling the order.
- Respond to and resolve customer requests and problems promptly and professionally.
- Help customers determine and select Crescent Electric products and services that best meet their needs.
- Work with the Purchasing Department, account managers, quotations specialists, product champions, and other branch personnel to provide competitive quotations.
- Continuously develop knowledge of Crescent product inventory, its location in the facility, and sales techniques.
