About The Position
Genesys Industries is a manufacturer of custom precision parts for various industries and is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support business development. The role involves contacting prospects, leads, and existing customers to identify opportunities and advance sales activities. The representative develops long-term client relationships by managing and interpreting customer requirements and serves as a single point of contact for customers. The position assists with completing estimates by required deadlines and manages multiple quote requests and specifications. Strong organization and communication are needed to coordinate quotes and follow-up calls in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Preferably at least 5 years of related B2B inside sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or verifiable work experience.
- Project management skills and the ability to track and manage multiple prospects and quotes.
- Experience using a CRM system or cloud-based systems.
- Willingness to make phone calls to customers and prospects.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
Responsibilities
- Contact prospects, leads, and existing customers to identify opportunities to quote part requirements, including short-run and long-production jobs.
- Build relationships with buyers to quote and close business.
- Follow up on leads and close opportunities.
- Track leads and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Find new customers through cold calls and website visits.
- Verify the accuracy of quote packages and finalize them.
- Present quote information to Senior Management before submitting it to customers.
- Maintain an assigned customer base through follow-up calls to buyers.
- Follow up on quotes and obtain purchase orders from buyers for quoted items.
- Obtain target prices to price-match quotes.
- Assist in completing estimates by required dates and manage multiple quote requests and specifications.
