About The Position

All Star Rents is hiring a full-time, hourly Inside Sales Representative for its San Rafael and Novato locations. The role primarily works at a sales counter, assisting customers by phone and in person, selling and renting construction equipment, and supporting branch operations. Saturday shifts are required; shifts end before 5:30 p.m. There are no night or Sunday shifts. Introductory bootcamp training lasts 90 days and covers servicing equipment and customers the All Star Rents way.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid California driver’s license with a satisfactory record.
Valid proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Ability to lift 50 pounds unaided.
Computer literacy, including typing and familiarity with computers, technology, and basic software such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.
Some mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction equipment.
Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Serious attitude toward workplace safety.
Satisfactory background check.
Pass a 4-panel drug screening and choose a drug-free lifestyle.
Be a team player with a positive attitude who enjoys having fun at work.

Nice To Haves

Certifications related to mechanical aptitude or construction equipment.
Bilingual communication skills.

Responsibilities

Handle phone calls and walk-in customers at the sales counter.
Schedule work orders and complete customer contracts.
Sell new and used equipment and maintain a successful sales record for the branch.
Keep the showroom clean and organized.
Follow up with customers regarding rentals.
Commission new jobs as necessary.
Use equipment knowledge to increase sales and drive business.
Load and unload equipment for customers and assist with safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service.
Deliver equipment as needed.
Keep safety a top priority and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Complete tasks, processes, and procedures delegated by a supervisor.
Maintain a professional appearance as a representative of All Star Rents.
