About The Position

Move Concierge is looking for a results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of inside sales professionals. This role is responsible for driving revenue, achieving sales and conversion goals, managing key performance metrics, reinforcing sales processes, developing talent, and creating a high-energy culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Our inside sales team connects customers with essential home services as they move into new homes, including electricity, internet, TV, home warranty, and smart home security solutions. This is a player-coach leadership role. You will spend approximately 10% of your time selling directly alongside your team, using your own sales performance to demonstrate the behaviors, techniques, accountability, and work ethic expected from the team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and knows how to turn data, coaching, and accountability into consistent sales results. The selected candidate will need to successfully complete our 2–3 month sales onboarding program to build deep knowledge of our business, products, partners, and sales process before fully assuming team leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Sales or related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally in an inside sales or contact center environment.
  • 3+ years of high-volume sales experience with proven success meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong coaching skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and hold team members accountable.
  • Results-driven, analytical, and able to use data to improve performance.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and standard business software (Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace).
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and follow-through is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling consumer services such as home security, telecommunications, utilities, or insurance.
  • Experience in partner-driven or multi-product sales environments.
  • Experience launching new sales campaigns, products, or lead sources is preferred
  • Strong command of sales fundamentals, including discovery, objection handling, and closing.
  • Proven ability to build trust, drive accountability, and lead by example.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10–25 inside sales representatives.
  • Create a high-energy, accountable, and positive sales culture aligned with Move Concierge's core values.
  • Conduct daily team huddles focused on priorities, performance, motivation, and business results.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones focused on coaching, development, accountability, and performance.
  • Identify, interview, and select high-performing sales talent.
  • Develop team members through structured coaching, skill development, and ongoing feedback.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to coaching, performance reviews, one-on-ones, and corrective action.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly revenue, sales, conversion, and productivity goals.
  • Monitor team KPIs, scorecards, conversion rates, and other performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Use data and performance insights to develop action plans and improve results.
  • Manage team performance at the individual and team level, holding sales representatives accountable to established expectations.
  • Maintain personal sales production and use your performance as a coaching and development tool.
  • Coach sales fundamentals including rapport building, discovery, questioning, objection handling, closing, and creating an exceptional customer experience.
  • Lead and execute quarterly team initiatives and performance projects ("Rocks").
  • Ensure consistent adherence to established sales and operational processes.
  • Reinforce sales scripts, workflows, systems, and best practices to drive consistency and scalability.
  • Partner with the VP and Director of Sales to execute sales initiatives designed to improve lead and salesperson productivity.
  • Support the launch of new lead sources, products, campaigns, and sales initiatives from implementation through execution and performance analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve lead conversion, call routing, sales efficiency, and overall customer experience.
  • Help drive adoption of sales technology and tools that improve productivity and performance.
  • Analyze sales performance, lead conversion, productivity, and campaign data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate visibility into team performance, pipeline, and forecasting.
  • Use reporting and analytics to make informed decisions and influence sales strategy.
  • Establish clear expectations and accountability around KPIs and business results.
  • Communicate performance trends, challenges, and opportunities to sales leadership.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Product, and other teams on initiatives that support revenue growth and improve the customer experience.
  • Manage and resolve customer and partner escalations while maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality, customer needs, sales processes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with partner requirements, company policies, regulatory standards, and data privacy practices.
  • Manage attendance, timekeeping, scheduling, and other day-to-day team administration.
  • Ensure team members are properly trained and equipped to perform their roles.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.
