About The Position

We are seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join our team! This position supports corporate initiatives and provides services across multiple subsidiary companies within The Mutual Capital Group, Inc. The company underwrites property and casualty insurance on personal, commercial, and agricultural lines of business.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-3 years of P&C sales experience or 3+ years of commercial lines underwriting experience.
• College degree or comparable work experience.
• Proficient interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
• Efficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• Ability to travel when necessary

Responsibilities

• Agency management of an assigned territory (training and supervising agents or sales representatives) including agency relationship and portfolio management and collaboration with the commercial, personal, and renewal underwriters.
• Develop, manage, and execute the territory marketing plan with regular touchpoints to assigned agencies.
• Business planning and budgeting.
• Meeting growth, profit, new business and loss objectives.
• Knowledge of commercial, personal and agricultural underwriting guides is necessary to provide technical support, assuring that Company policies and standards are being adhered to.
• Meeting producer and policyholder service standards.
• Leadership skills.
