About The Position

TricorBraun is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing inside sales team. This role involves mentoring a team focused on revenue growth, customer retention, and profitable business expansion. TricorBraun is a global packaging leader, serving as North America's largest distributor of primary packaging and assisting recognizable brands with innovative packaging solutions. The Inside Sales Manager will oversee inside sales professionals responsible for developing customer relationships, increasing sales performance, and ensuring outstanding service. This position translates strategy into action through coaching, monitoring performance metrics, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. It is ideal for a leader who excels in fast-paced environments, enjoys talent development, and can leverage data, process, and motivation for measurable results.

Requirements

  • Experience leading or mentoring sales teams in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to drive accountability and performance through metrics and process.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
  • Experience in distribution, manufacturing, packaging, or B2B sales environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leading, coaching, and developing inside sales team members to achieve revenue, margin, and activity goals.
  • Establishing clear performance expectations and holding the team accountable through regular coaching and feedback.
  • Monitoring sales pipelines, customer activity, and team performance metrics to get results.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and external sales teams to support customer success.
  • Supporting the execution of sales strategies, initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
  • Finding opportunities to improve customer retention, account growth, and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Creating a positive, team-oriented culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
