About The Position

As an Inside Sales Associate at POOLCORP, you will help deliver a positive customer experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing role. You will assist customers at the counter and over the phone by answering product questions, processing orders, recommending solutions, and helping ensure a smooth sales and pickup experience. You will build customer relationships while supporting showroom and basic warehouse operations. The role is based at SCP Albuquerque, 3715 Hawkins NE Ste B & C, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Pay is $19.50–$22.00, with performance bonuses up to $2,500.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent customer service attitude and comfort interacting directly with customers for most of the day.
Strong computer skills, including the ability to use basic computer systems and MS Office.
Ability to safely move products weighing up to 100 lbs. using equipment such as a dolly.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of related inside sales experience.
Familiarity with pool supplies, parts, chemicals, or pool construction or maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assist walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs.
Enter sales orders accurately, generate invoices, and process payments or credit authorizations according to company policy.
Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and product availability.
Evaluate and determine the disposition of warranty items handled at the counter according to manufacturer warranty policies and customer needs.
Provide estimated delivery dates based on knowledge of vendors’ production and delivery schedules.
Pull, stage, and distribute customer orders efficiently, including occasional use of an RF scanner.
Restock and replenish showroom merchandise to maintain product availability and presentation.
Cross-train in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties to support branch operations.
