About The Position

POOLCORP is hiring an Inside Sales Associate for its Norcross, Georgia sales center. This customer-facing role supports a smooth sales and order-pickup experience by assisting customers at the counter and over the phone, answering product questions, processing orders, recommending solutions, and building customer relationships. The associate also supports showroom presentation and basic warehouse operations, including pulling and staging orders and cross-training in receiving and shipping. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Compensation is $19–$22 per hour, with performance bonuses of up to $2,500. The position is described as safety-sensitive and requires successful pre-employment drug testing and background verification for external candidates. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent customer service attitude and comfort interacting directly with customers for most of the day.
Strong computer skills, including the ability to use basic computer systems and MS Office.
Ability to safely move products weighing up to 100 pounds using equipment such as a dolly.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of related inside sales experience.
Familiarity with pool supplies, parts, chemicals, or pool construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assist walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs.
Enter sales orders accurately, generate invoices, and process payments or credit authorizations according to company policy.
Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and product availability.
Evaluate and determine the disposition of warranty items at the counter in accordance with manufacturer warranty policies and customer needs.
Provide customers with estimated delivery dates based on vendor production and delivery schedules.
Pull, stage, and distribute customer orders efficiently, including occasional use of an RF scanner.
Restock and replenish showroom merchandise to maintain product availability and presentation.
Cross-train in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties to support branch operations.
