About The Position

Shamrock Roofing & Construction is hiring an experienced phone sales consultant to handle homeowner leads and convert them into roof inspections and signed roofing or exterior projects. This is an in-office role in Overland Park, Kansas. The consultant works with homeowners who have already contacted the company, using roofing or insurance-claims knowledge to explain options, guide customers through the claims process, and close sales. Compensation is a base salary of $40,000–$45,000 per year, depending on experience, plus uncapped commission on closed sales. New hires complete a 90-day introductory period.

Requirements

1–2 years of roofing sales experience or 1–2 years of experience as an insurance adjuster.
Solid knowledge of residential roofing and homeowner insurance claims.
Experience selling to homeowners or working directly with customers.
A record of hitting goals.
Confidence handling objections and closing sales.
Strong organization and follow-up habits.
Comfort using a CRM, Google Workspace, and basic spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

Speak with homeowners who call in, identify their needs, and book roof inspections.
Call past and current customers to develop new roofing and exterior projects.
Explain customer options and the insurance-claim process in plain language.
Track open estimates and follow up until customers make a decision.
Maintain clean, accurate notes in the CRM.
Hand off sold jobs to Project Managers to support a smooth start.
Communicate with customers by phone, email, and text.
