About The Position

We are seeking a high-performing Inside Loan Officer with experience in Private Lending, Business Purpose Lending (BPL), and/or Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) lending. The ideal candidate is an experienced loan originator and closer with an established book of business and relationships with real estate investors. The role requires independently generating business while converting company-provided leads into additional production; company leads supplement rather than replace self-generated business. Target production is $3M or more in funded loan volume per month, with strong interest in candidates producing $4M–$5M or more monthly. The Loan Officer will grow their book of business and presence in the real estate investor community through prospecting, networking, industry conferences, investor events, local meetups, referrals, and relationship development throughout the Tampa market. This is a Tampa-area hybrid/in-office direct-hire opportunity. The company provides leads, a broad range of lending products, operational and sales support, a national lending platform, employee benefits, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match. No relocation assistance or visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience.
An existing book of business and established client relationships.
Proven experience originating and closing loans.
Ability to self-source and generate new business.
Strong relationships with real estate investors.
A high-volume, phone-first sales mentality and ability to overcome objections and close business.
Knowledge of credit, pricing, leverage, loan structures, and financing options.
Strong CRM, pipeline management, and follow-up skills.
A results-driven focus on closings, funded volume, repeat business, and referrals.

Nice To Haves

Private Lending, BPL, and/or DSCR experience.
Monthly funded production of $3M or more; candidates producing $4M–$5M or more monthly are of strong interest.
A transferable pipeline.

Responsibilities
