About The Position
Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited psychiatric hospital located in Panama City, Florida. They provide mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, active-duty service members and their families, and veterans. The role is for a PRN BC General Psychiatrist to cover weekends and vacation for patients aged twelve and older, including adult, adolescent, older adult, and military populations. Weekend coverage requires on-site presence on Saturdays and Sundays with after-hours telephonic call, while Friday coverage can be remote. The primary duties include initial psychiatric evaluations, with follow-up visits and rare weekend discharges.
Requirements
- BC in General Psychiatry required
- Active or eligible for FL medical license
- Commutable distance or local area psychiatrists required
- Comfort with seeing ages twelve and older is required
