About The Position

Local Infusion is seeking an Infusion Nurse to provide direct patient care at its center(s) in Silver Spring, Maryland. The role supports the company’s growth by delivering high-quality infusion therapy care and helping ensure patients receive the best possible experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable working autonomously and has experience starting IVs and working with biologic drugs. The position offers predictable hours, autonomy, a manageable workload, and a stated 3:1 patient-to-clinician ratio.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Maryland and willingness to obtain licensure in another state.
• Experience in outpatient infusion therapy and in a clinical setting caring for multiple patients at once.
• Comfort working autonomously and inserting at least five peripheral IVs per shift.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• Excellent IV skills.
• Experience and strong familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work one to two Saturdays per month.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS and PALS certification.
• Infusion therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patients’ health status.
• Deliver infusions or injections according to prescribed protocols and organizational guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies.
• Communicate with referring and prescribing providers about order clarification, patient status, and plans of care.
• Provide onsite supervision for all patients.
