About The Position

Associated Wholesale Grocers is seeking two Information Technology students for its 2027 Summer Internship on the Information Technology Team. The intern will gain direct experience managing supply chain software in support of cybersecurity and retailer-facing technology. The IT team helps maintain operational efficiency and data security. The internship runs from May 25, 2027, through July 30, 2027, and requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, with overtime possible as needed. The work environment is business casual. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment, connect with other interns and AWG employees, and present their insights to the Executive Leadership Team at the end of the program. Strong performance may lead to a full-time opportunity with AWG.

Requirements

Candidates must be majoring in Information Technology.
Solid communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Attention to detail, willingness to ask questions, and ability to follow up.
Initiative, enthusiasm to learn, and ability to follow direction.
Ability to commit to a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, 10-week internship, including overtime as needed.
Regular and reliable attendance throughout the program.

Nice To Haves

An emphasis in Business Analytics or Development is desired.
Junior- or senior-level students are preferred; recent grades are acceptable.
