About The Position

Associated Wholesale Grocers is seeking two Information Technology students for its 2027 Summer Internship on the Information Technology Team. The intern will gain direct experience managing supply chain software that supports cybersecurity and retailer-facing technology. The IT team contributes to maintaining operational efficiency and data security. This is a 10-week, full-time internship requiring 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime as needed and regular, reliable attendance throughout the program. The internship runs from May 25, 2027, through July 30, 2027, and pays $21 per hour. The work environment is business casual. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment, connect with employees and fellow interns, and present their insights to the Executive Leadership Team at the end of the program. High-performing interns may have the opportunity to pursue a full-time role with AWG.

Requirements

• Be an Information Technology major.
• Have solid communication skills.
• Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Be willing to ask questions and follow up.
• Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm to learn, and the ability to follow direction.
• Commit to a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, 10-week internship, with regular and reliable attendance.
• Be available to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• An emphasis in Business Analytics or Development is desired.
• Junior- or senior-level students are preferred.
• Recent grades are acceptable.
