Information Technology Intern
About The Position
The Information Technology Intern assists the Lakers IT Department in providing technical support to employees, maintaining end-user devices, and supporting technology operations at the UCLA Health Training Center and Crypto.com Arena. The department's goal is to provide the Lakers organization with the technology needed to function and excel, maintain existing technology infrastructure, and protect company information. Responsibilities may change based on organizational needs and management direction. The position is based in El Segundo, with work at the office Monday through Friday, at Crypto.com Arena for some Lakers home games, and at other off-site events as needed. The role is 25–30 hours per week and requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position is not eligible for relocation, housing, or college credit.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a college senior or recently graduated with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in information technology.
- Have basic knowledge of Windows and macOS.
- Be willing to learn enterprise IT systems.
- Have strong customer service skills.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Help maintain the inventory, setup, and repair of IT equipment.
- Assist IT Support Engineers with IT game-day setup.
- Assist IT Support Engineers with remediation of trouble tickets.
- Help maintain IT standards and processes.
