About The Position

The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (MSD) is seeking an Information Governance Analyst to join their team. This role is responsible for evaluating, recommending, creating, implementing, updating, and maintaining information management systems. The analyst will collaborate with developers, technical staff, and partners, monitor customer system access, and assess information flow for workflow analysis and planning. They will also perform records and information management functions, support information reviews and updates, and assess and correct data according to best practices and standards. The position requires providing regular status reports to the IG Manager and performing other related duties as delegated by a supervisor.

Requirements

  • BA degree, including specialized courses in information management, business law, or information systems, from a recognized college or university.
  • 7 years of progressively responsible experience in records and information management systems/applications implementation, maintenance and administration, including customer support.
  • Ability to appropriately handle highly sensitive information.
  • Proficient in MS365 environment, enterprise content management, records handling, imaging and emerging technologies.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the employee resides.

Nice To Haves

  • CRM/CRA, ERMs/ERMm, CAPM or other related certifications is a plus.
  • Understanding of ARMA Int's GARP, US DOD 5015.02, ISO 15489, and other relevant RIM industry guidelines.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates, reviews, recommends, creates, implements, updates, and maintains information management related systems.
  • Maintains and monitors customer system access.
  • Collaborates with developers, technical staff and partners.
  • Assesses information flow for workflow analysis and planning.
  • Works closely with staff to perform records and information management functions within related information management systems.
  • Supports initiatives and customers in information reviews and updates.
  • Assesses, analyzes and corrects data according to best practices and standards.
  • Provides status reports to the IG Manager regularly.
  • Performs related work as required or as delegated by supervisor.
