About The Position

Fortis College in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking an experienced, motivated Informatics professional to teach in its Nursing Program. This part-time faculty position focuses primarily on teaching Informatics courses. The typical teaching load is two courses per term, with one or two course preparations. The instructor will also provide academic advising to students and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements

• A master's degree in Informatics, preferably Nursing Informatics, or a master's degree in a closely related field with 18 graduate credits completed in Informatics.
• At least three years of experience in the field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.

Nice To Haves

• Prior higher education or postsecondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities
