About The Position
Fortis College in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking an experienced, motivated communications professional to teach in its degree programs. The role is a part-time faculty position focused on teaching Communication courses. The typical teaching load is two courses per term, with one or two course preparations. The instructor will also provide academic advising and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation activities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Communications, or a master’s degree in a related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours completed in communications.
- At least three years of experience in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.
Nice To Haves
- Prior higher education or postsecondary teaching experience.
