About The Position

Fortis College in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking an experienced, motivated psychology professional to teach in its degree programs. The position is part-time and reports directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility is teaching Psychology courses, typically two courses per term with one or two course preparations. The instructor will also provide academic advising to students and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements

• A master's degree in Psychology, or a master's degree in a related field with 18 completed graduate credits in Psychology.
• At least three years of experience in the field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.

Nice To Haves

• Prior higher education or postsecondary teaching experience.
