Infectious Disease Physician - Dyer, TN
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Infectious Disease Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients. The mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers a full-time schedule of 4–5 weekdays per week, generally Monday through Friday, with stated hours of 7 am–4 pm, or a part-time option requiring a minimum of 3 weekdays per week. There are no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
