About The Position

At High Steel Structures, we fabricate the backbone of America’s infrastructure, specializing in complex bridge and transportation projects. We are seeking experienced Coating Specialists/Industrial Painters for our 3rd-shift team in Lancaster, PA. This role involves preparing metal surfaces and applying standard finishes, including paint and metalizing, to machined parts. The 3rd shift operates Monday - Thursday, from 8:30 pm to 7:00 am, and includes a 25% shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required.
• Ability to work from prints, specification tables, and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments.

Nice To Haves

• Previous painting experience, using spray gun, desired.
• Sandblasting or powder coating experience a plus!

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks to prepare metal surfaces.
• Apply standard finishes to machined parts, including paint and metalizing.
• Apply specified coatings to steel bridge beams and cross members.
