About The Position

At High Steel Structures, we fabricate steel for America's infrastructure, specializing in complex bridge and transportation projects. We are seeking experienced Coating Specialists/Industrial Painters for our 3rd-shift team in Williamsport, PA. The schedule is Monday - Thursday, 8:30 pm to 7:00 am, with a 25% shift differential. Coating Specialists/Painters prepare metal surfaces and apply standard finishes, including paint and metalizing, to machined parts.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required
• The ability to work from prints, specification tables and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments is necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Previous painting experience, using spray gun, desired
• Sandblasting or powder coating experience a plus!

Responsibilities

• Performing various tasks to prepare metal surfaces
• Applying standard finishes to machined parts
• Applying paint and metalizing
• Applying specified coatings to steel bridge beams and cross members
