About The Position
High Steel Structures is seeking experienced Coating Specialists/Industrial Painters to join their 3rd-shift team in Lancaster, PA. This role involves preparing metal surfaces and applying standard finishes, including paint and metalizing, to machined parts. The schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday, 8:30 pm to 7:00 am, with a 25% shift differential for 3rd shift workers.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required.
- The ability to work from prints, specification tables and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments is necessary.
Nice To Haves
- Previous painting experience, using spray gun, desired.
- Sandblasting or powder coating experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Performing various tasks to prepare metal surfaces.
- Applying standard finishes to machined parts, including paint and metalizing.
- Applying specified coatings to steel bridge beams and cross members.
