About The Position

Industrial Maintenance Technicians ensure optimal efficiency by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance while prioritizing safety and quality standards. The role requires a technical mindset, strong mechanical capabilities, and flexibility to rotate job assignments throughout various areas of the bakery. Technicians are expected to pursue ongoing training as technology and performance standards evolve. Physical demands include climbing fixed and portable ladders up to 20 feet; stooping and bending while lifting up to 50 pounds; and climbing onto and crawling under machinery as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to climb fixed and portable ladders up to 20 feet.
Ability to stoop and bend while lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb onto and crawl under machinery as required.

Nice To Haves

Technical or trade school certification or diploma.
At least 1 year of experience as a technician.
Experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical work, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, and general knowledge of support equipment.
Lubricate components properly and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment.
Identify mechanical wear; troubleshoot and replace mechanical drive and conveyor components.
Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry.
Apply learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Comply with Company policies and procedures, including EEO, harassment, safety, and Sarbanes-Oxley policies.
Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including fulfilling work schedules and adhering to attendance policies and other operating rules and procedures.
Possess or obtain licenses required by municipal, county/ward, or state regulatory agencies for work with boilers, refrigeration components, and other job-related equipment.
