About The Position
RepRally is an AI-powered online marketplace connecting independent retailers directly with thousands of CPG brands. We aim to eliminate the need for high-priced middleman distributors by providing a digital platform and fostering face-to-face relationships. Independent sales partners are crucial to our network, building local trust while we provide inventory, a digital catalog, and logistics. This opportunity is for motivated, highly driven independent contractors to manage and grow their own local sales territory in the Tampa Metro Area. As a 1099 Independent Sales Representative, you will operate as your own business, controlling your schedule, methods, and earning potential with support from our mobile app and extensive product catalog.
Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales, delivery routes, or independent contracting is beneficial, but a strong drive and persistence are key.
- Comfort with cold pitching and following up until an account is closed.
- Enjoyment of the freedom to manage your own day and execute your own sales strategy.
- Provision of your own valid driver's license.
- Access to a reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Possession of a smartphone with a data plan.
Responsibilities
- Targeting independent retailers across the Tampa Metro Area, including convenience stores, gas stations, bodegas, liquor stores, smoke shops, and other independently owned businesses selling CPG goods.
- Walking into stores, engaging with decision-makers, and pitching the RepRally platform directly to business owners.
- Prospecting new stores, building trust with owners, and managing client relationships.
- Using the mobile app to facilitate initial orders and actively managing accounts to secure continuous, high-volume re-orders.
