About The Position
RepRally is an AI-powered online marketplace connecting independent retailers directly with thousands of CPG brands. We enable stores to bypass high-priced distributors by combining our digital platform with face-to-face relationships. Our independent sales partners are crucial to our network, building local trust while we provide inventory, a digital catalog, and logistics. This opportunity is for motivated, highly driven independent contractors to grow their own local sales territory in the Sacramento Metro Area. As a 1099 Independent Sales Representative, you will run your own business, controlling your schedule, methods, and earning potential, supported by our mobile app and extensive product catalog.
Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales, delivery routes, or independent contracting is beneficial, but a strong drive and persistence are key.
- Comfort with cold pitching and following up until an account is closed.
- Ability to operate independently, manage your own day, and execute your own sales strategy.
- Must provide your own valid driver's license.
- Must provide a reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Must have a smartphone with a data plan.
Responsibilities
- Targeting independent retailers across the Sacramento Metro Area (convenience stores, gas stations, bodegas, liquor stores, smoke shops, and other independently owned businesses selling CPG goods).
- Walking into stores, engaging with decision-makers, and pitching the RepRally platform directly to business owners.
- Prospecting new stores, earning owner trust, and managing client relationships.
- Using the mobile app to facilitate initial orders and actively managing accounts for continuous, high-volume re-orders.
