About the position
SamCart is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their Performance Marketing team. The SDR will be responsible for lead qualification and optimizing lead handoff between sales development and Account Executives. They will act as the first point of contact for inbound prospects and will be responsible for conducting discovery calls, answering technical questions, and creating personalized outreach plans. The ideal candidate should have a goal-oriented and self-motivated attitude, a passion for sales, and a desire to showcase how SamCart can add value to prospects' businesses. This is an entry-level position with 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Receive and manage inbound communication from the SamCart.com domain, including Contact Us Form Submissions, Gated Content, Demo Requests, Content Syndication leads, Hubspot Chat, and other inbound campaigns
- Conduct discovery calls and qualify leads for the Account Executive team
- Answer technical questions about SamCart's platform
- Create monthly messaging A/B plans to fine-tune inbound messaging and increase response rates, conversion rates, ARPA, and MRR
- Work within CRM and/or Hubspot to leverage lead scoring methodology for TPL re-engagement and outreach
- Take ownership of win-back opportunities with new feature launches and create personalized outreach plans for warm leads, canceled customers, and canceled trials
- Utilize CRM systems to accurately track and share progress and performance toward goals
- Continually create the best customer experience in the industry and prioritize customer service
- Entry-level position, 1-2 years experience in Sales or Customer Service Role a plus
