About The Position

Fairmont Kea Lani is seeking an In-Suite Dining Server to deliver food and beverage orders to resort guests while providing personalized, timely, and efficient service. The role represents the resort’s cuisine and culture and supports its mission of turning moments into memories. The hourly rate is $16.00. The position requires working varying schedules to meet hotel business demands, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not offered.

Requirements

One year of work experience in Food & Beverage.
Valid driver’s license.
TB clearance.
Maui County Liquor Card.
Food Safety Certification or ServSafe Certification.
Authorization to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not offered.
Availability to work varying schedules, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Deliver In-Suite Dining orders promptly, following company standards and guests’ delivery preferences.
Check with the cashier about shift-specific duties before starting.
Check and set up service stations with necessary equipment and supplies, and replenish them as needed.
Conduct floor sweeps to collect used In-Suite Dining equipment, tableware, and linens.
Maintain full knowledge of menu items, garnishes, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Participate in monthly departmental sales promotions.
Follow State of Hawaii and Environmental Health Consultancy food-handling safety standards.
Organize time to complete side work according to shift demands.
Provide engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service while maintaining an aloha spirit.
Focus on guest needs and remain calm and courteous.
Promote and enforce health and safety awareness, understand emergency procedures, and follow hotel and departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
