About The Position

Sensei Lāna’i, A Four Seasons Resort is seeking a passionate In Room Dining Server to create exceptional guest experiences and embody the Golden Rule in every interaction. The role provides in-room dining service by delivering food, beverages, and amenities to guest rooms with professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.

The server verifies orders, accommodates dietary restrictions and special requests, and maintains high standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality. The role also involves personalized guest service, maintaining clean and organized service areas and equipment, coordinating amenity deliveries with other departments, and processing guest checks and room charges accurately. The hospitality business operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day, so scheduled days and times may vary based on need; availability on holidays and weekends is required.

Requirements

• Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
• Must obtain a Tuberculosis (TB) clearance card as required by the Hawaii State Department of Health.
• Hawaii Food Handler’s Card is required.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays; scheduled days and times may vary based on business needs.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and push or pull as needed during shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Maui Liquor Card preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately deliver food and beverages, verify orders, accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests, and uphold standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality.
• Greet guests warmly, share menu knowledge, anticipate needs, and respond promptly to inquiries, concerns, and requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of in-room dining equipment, service areas, guest corridors, and workspaces, including setup, breakdown, sanitation, restocking, and timely retrieval of trays and dishware.
• Deliver guest, daily, and Hale amenities according to brand standards, coordinating with other departments for timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Accurately process guest checks, room charges, signatures, and billing adjustments in accordance with procedures and accounting standards.
