About The Position

As an In-Store Shopper, also called a Drive Up & Go Clerk, you select high-quality products for customers who shop online. You move throughout the store picking items, checking quality, and making selections that meet customer expectations for accurate and fresh groceries.

You keep orders organized and ready for pickup by carefully bagging items, managing substitutions, and coordinating orders for timely handoff. The work includes shopping, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or pickup in a steady, fast-paced store environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to use handheld devices and follow digital order systems.
• Strong attention to detail for product quality checks and order accuracy.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies, including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Comfort with continuous movement, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in different store areas.

• Prior retail, customer service, or fulfillment experience is preferred.
• Clear and professional communication when assisting with pickup orders.
• Organization and time-management skills to manage multiple orders while maintaining speed and accuracy.
• Ability to identify out-of-stock items and select appropriate substitutions.

Responsibilities

• Select high-quality items across perishable and non-perishable departments for online customer orders.
• Check product quality and ensure orders are accurate and fresh.
• Bag items carefully and keep orders organized for pickup or delivery.
• Manage substitutions when items are unavailable and identify out-of-stock products.
• Coordinate order needs with team members and prepare orders for timely customer handoff.
• Use handheld devices and digital systems to pick and track orders.
• Follow order fulfillment processes, company standards, and applicable safety, sanitation, and dress policies.
