About The Position
The In-Shop Team Member greets customers, takes orders, prepares sandwiches quickly and accurately, operates the register, and helps keep the shop clean and running smoothly. The role offers $12.00–$14.00 per hour plus tips, flexible scheduling, and free meals on every shift. No experience is needed; training is provided. Full-time means 30 or more hours per week and includes medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan with an employer match. Part-time roles under 30 hours per week are not benefits-eligible. The franchisee operates more than 100 Jimmy John's stores across seven states and promotes from within.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Communicate clearly with customers in English, both in person and when taking phone orders.
- Be comfortable standing throughout the shift, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and take orders in person and by phone.
- Make sandwiches according to recipes quickly and accurately.
- Run the register and handle payments accurately.
- Keep tables, floors, stations, and restrooms clean.
- Complete shift checklists honestly and completely.
