About The Position

Work with the Room Service Team to serve guests and ensure a positive guest experience. The role involves setting up and delivering food and beverage orders, amenities, and hospitality suite service according to company and hotel standards. It also includes maintaining sanitation by retrieving trays, completing shift side work, responding to guest needs, handling cash, and reporting guest communications to the immediate shift supervisor.

Requirements

Ability to communicate well with guests.
Ability to grasp, bend, lift, carry, move, or push goods on a cart weighing up to 100 lbs. on a continuous schedule, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences such as supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

Hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and deliver food and beverage orders in accordance with established guidelines, procedures, policies, and company standards.
Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve food and beverage trays to maintain sanitation guidelines.
Set up and deliver VIP amenities.
Service hospitality suites in accordance with Banquet Event Orders and established policies and procedures.
Complete shift side work as outlined in the hotel’s operating policies and procedures.
Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales; report communications to the immediate shift supervisor.
Perform cash handling responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
