About The Position

Right at Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support seniors and vulnerable adults in living safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. The role focuses on providing personal care, companionship, and practical support while building trust and offering peace of mind to clients and their families. The organization serves the Rogue Valley, including Medford, Ashland, Jacksonville, Eagle Point, White City, Central Point, Phoenix, and Talent.

The caregiver follows individual care plans, documents daily care notes using a mobile app, and communicates with the office team. Paid training and ongoing support are provided, and prior caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Requirements

• Successfully pass a background check.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid ID.
• Demonstrate compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience; experience is welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Build relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transportation.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment.
• Follow individual care plans and accurately document daily care notes using a mobile app.
• Communicate effectively with the office team.
