About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking caring, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home support to seniors in the local area. The role involves helping clients with everyday activities, personal assistance, companionship, and comfort while following individualized care plans. Caregivers communicate professionally with clients’ families and the office team. The position offers flexible full-time and part-time scheduling, primarily on weekday day shifts, and compensation of $17–$19 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Access to a smartphone and email.

Nice To Haves

• Professional caregiving experience is preferred.
• Caregiving experience with or without CNA/HHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide transportation and assist with shopping and errands.
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Follow individualized care plans.
• Communicate professionally with families and office staff.
