About The Position

S&G Carpet is hiring an In-Home Sales Consultant focused on flooring and carpet in the Tri-Valley area, including Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, and San Ramon. The role involves visiting customer homes for appointments scheduled by the retail sales team, measuring job sites, presenting bids, and closing sales on-site when possible. The consultant also assists the retail team with orders that do not close during the appointment and works closely with a supportive, service-focused team.

This is a full-time position, five days per week, with Saturdays required after training is complete. The starting hourly rate is $25, plus bonuses and spiffs; the posting says new hires can realistically earn $66,000 to $90,000 per year. A company vehicle is included. Paid training and flooring-industry knowledge are provided, and flooring experience is not required. Candidates must live in the Tri-Valley territory, have a valid driver's license and clean driving record, and be at least 21 years old.
