About The Position

Signify Health, part of CVS Health, is seeking a part-time physician to provide in-home health evaluations and help bridge gaps in care. Physicians visit people in their homes to build trusted relationships and provide flexible, comprehensive, and personalized health evaluations. Visits last about 45 minutes and include a medication and medical history review, a physical evaluation, and any additional diagnostic tests ordered by the person’s health plan, such as diabetic eye exams or spirometry. Physicians use an iPad and a clinical workflow. They are not required to prescribe medicine, order lab tests, or alter a person’s current treatment regimen.

The primary workplace is the private residence of health plan members. Home environments vary and may include household pets, secondhand smoke, or other airborne allergens or irritants; candidates must be able to perform duties safely and comfortably in these environments. The role may also include local and in-state travel and virtual visits as needed.

Part-time employees qualify for select benefits, malpractice insurance coverage during Signify Health-related activities, supplies, and other perks. The position is listed at 29.5 anticipated weekly hours, with a pay range of $105.00–$105.00. Actual pay depends on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted physician license(s) in the coverage area(s).
• Ability to comfortably and safely perform duties in private homes that may contain household pets, secondhand smoke, or other potential airborne allergens or irritants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home health evaluations, including medication and medical history reviews and physical evaluations.
• Perform additional diagnostic and preventive services as indicated, such as spirometry, diabetic eye exams, and bone density screening.
• Use an iPad and the clinical workflow for each evaluation.
• Travel locally and within licensed states as needed.
• Conduct virtual visits as needed.
• Provide Signify Health services as indicated.
• Engage with people, answer health questions, and help connect them to care suited to their needs.
